Dirawong

Dirawong is a large ancestral goanna-cryptid said to patrol river bends and sandbars along the northern New South Wales coast. Seen as both creature and custodian, it moves with a deliberate, earth-heavy gait; scales matte like sun‑bleached bark, a broad head that watches the land like a tide line.
