Diwata

Diwata — Deity (Nature Spirit). A presence of old groves, mountain springs, and cliffside clearings: incorporeal and cool, it leaves the air damp and a little thinner as if the world has inhaled. Smell: wet loam, crushed orchid petals, and a faint trace of fragrant wood or incense. Sound: a distant, melancholy bamboo flute layered with the hush of wings and the soft rustle of silk-like leaves. Temperature: a subtle chill that beads dew on foliage and fogs breath where it lingers. Visual cues are seldom direct—pale motes, a shifting silhouette at the edge of vision, or light bending like heat on distant roadways—best recorded as impressions rather than solid form.
