Troll Cat

Troll Cat is a Fae familiar most often encountered at dusk around barns and dairy rooms: visually it appears as a small, irregular cat-shape or a ball of matted fur that moves with animal intent; Smell: a faint tang of sour milk and lanolin, as if it has been slipping between churns; Sound: a low, restless purr mixed with the soft rustle of wool and the occasional wet, drawing click; Temperature: lukewarm to the touch — the steady body heat of a small mammal, never the cold of a spirit. Field notes record its gait as deliberate and economical, pausing at thresholds and slipping through cracks where ordinary cats cannot pass.
