Yaksha

Yaksha is a Deity — an ancient nature-guardian and steward of hidden wealth. In the field their presence reads like a buried map: the air grows heavy with the scent of damp loam and crushed sandalwood; the sound is a low susurration of leaves threaded with a distant, coinlike chime; the temperature is an earth-warmed steadiness, as if standing on sun-warmed moss. They frequent secluded groves, river bends and cave mouths where roots and riches tangle; their mood can feel as grounding as a stone altar or as exacting as a watchful sentinel.
