Battle Chronicle & Lore Analysis

The farmhouse was silent, but the barn was a scene of chaos.

The Troll Cat—a magical construct created by a witch, looking like a ball of tangled black wool and stolen butter—rolled across the floorboards. Dairy Draught. It was leaking milk and malice, looking for something to steal.

It found the Bulgasari instead.

The Korean monster looked like a mix of a bear, an elephant, and a nightmare. It was currently chewing on the family tractor. Metalheart Assimilation. It crunched through the engine block like it was a cracker, sparks dripping from its jaws.

The Annoyance

The Troll Cat hissed. It didn't like competition. It leaped, extending claws made of enchanted bone. Witchbound Stitch.

It landed on the Bulgasari's back and raked its hide.

SCREEEEEE.

It sounded like nails on a chalkboard. The Bulgasari’s skin was tougher than the iron it ate. The claws skidded off, leaving not even a scratch.

The Bulgasari stopped chewing. He swallowed a piston. He turned his heavy head to look at the ball of lint clinging to his shoulder.

"Meat?" the Bulgasari grunted. "No. Wool."

The Stomp

The Bulgasari shook himself, dislodging the cat. The construct hit the floor and bounced, ready to hiss again.

The Bulgasari raised one massive, pillar-like leg. Earthrend Stomp.

He didn't use magic. He used mass. The foot came down with the inevitability of a falling anvil.

The barn floor splintered. The foundation cracked. The Troll Cat didn't even have time to meow. It was flattened instantly, bursting into a puddle of rancid butter and black hair.

The Bulgasari sniffed the mess, sneered, and went back to eating the tractor.
