Frigg sat at her loom in Fensalir. She wasn't weaving wool; she was weaving the outcome of the fight before it started. Loom of the Hearth.
"He trips," she whispered, tying a knot. "He misses."
Erlang Shen kicked down the door. He held his Three-Pointed Double-Edged Lance. His celestial hound, Xiao Tianquan, snarled at the goddess.
"Fate is not a rug," Erlang Shen declared.
The Sight
Frigg didn't panic. She pulled the Veil of Unspoken Fate around her, vanishing from sight. She moved to the side, ready to stab him with a golden spindle.
Erlang Shen’s third eye snapped open on his forehead. Heavenly Third Eye.
A beam of golden light swept the room. It burned through the veil. It revealed Frigg standing by the fireplace.
"Found you," he said.
He signaled his hound. Xiao Tianquan lunged, biting the spindle out of Frigg's hand.
Frigg tried to use Oath-Binding Touch, commanding the dog to sit. "I am the Queen of Asgard! Obey!"
The dog hesitated. But Erlang Shen didn't. He swept his lance, shattering the loom.
"My authority comes from the Jade Emperor," Erlang Shen stated, leveling his spear at her throat. "Your local ordinances do not apply."
Frigg raised her hands. "Fine. But you're paying for the door."
