Persistent neglect of clarified butter (ghee) and soma offerings starves his sacrificial mouth and weakens his power to convey petitions.
Rancid or Impure Offerings
Presenting rotten ghee, impure substances or cursed objects fouls the flame and can cause his fire to backlash upon worshippers.
