Clurichaun is a solitary Fae trickster often found in the dim corners of breweries, cellars, and hearth-warmed kitchens. Field notes describe a small, wiry figure with a quick eye and rumpled clothes—more creature of soot and ale than of moonlight—whose presence announces itself in household textures. Smell: the warm, yeasty tang of spilled beer and fermenting grain, layered with damp leather and a wisp of peat smoke. Sound: a high, tinny chuckle, the soft scuff of a boot dragged across flagstones, the sudden clink of glass or coin, and the sharp tap of a cobbler’s awl. Temperature: ambient readings trend warm—like standing too close to a stove; the air near him feels dry and hearth-warmed rather than cold or spectral.
