Iktomi is a Fae trickster — a spider-spirit of the Lakota plains. He may be seen as a wiry man with the restless gait of eight limbs or as a small, dark spider weaving deliberately odd patterns. Smell: the dry warmth of parched grass and a trace of sweet smoke. Sound: a soft, knowing chuckle, the whisper of silk across wood, and the faint snap of a twig.
